Huawei P50 launch was difficult and required major changes: Report
In July 2021, Huawei launched its new flagship smartphone – P50 and P50 Pro among consumers but a report reveals that it was difficult to launch these phones. It’s suggested that the Huawei P50 series has to go through a number of major changes to bring themselves to the launch stage.
According to the report, the Huawei P50 series has gone through three major changes and several waves of adjustment to bring the best out for the consumers. Therefore, the birth of the Huawei P50 was very difficult.
In 2019, Huawei has been placed under U.S. sanctions, which prohibits the company from purchasing any required U.S.-made components for new products. This move has affected the tech maker in big terms and its smartphone business has been suffered due to the loss of required manufacturing yields.
Huawei P50 has also suffered the same blow because the company has to collect new supply sources to assemble this new flagship.
On the other hand, the Huawei team held a series of discussions regarding how to improve the P50 and the new improvements that must have to be better than the Huawei P40. Following the events of 2019 and two rounds of review, the Huawei P50 design has been decided and put on the board.
The team has been confident that the device will surely allure consumers for the Huawei P50.
The production further took leave in May 2020, reports broke out that the Huawei P50 has become uncertain to launch, as it has already missed the scheduled launch date. In the background, Huawei has started to revise some more plans for this new flagship which took around 2-3 months.
According to the corresponding person, Huawei wanted to increase the competitiveness of the product and took it to new heights. Lastly, after facing various challenges and difficulties, in July 2021, Huawei finally brought in the P50 lineup.
