Honor 30 Youth Edition getting March 2022 HarmonyOS firmware

Honor 30 Youth Edition has started receiving a new HarmonyOS firmware that mainly installs the March 2022 security improvements. For your information, the latest security patch brings fixes for over 35 CVEs, which was found in the HarmonyOS software system.

According to the information, the Honor 30 Youth Edition March 2022 firmware update comes with HarmonyOS build version 2.0.0.223. To grab this update, make sure that you are running on the HM OS 2.0.0.222 baseline version.

Do note that this update doesn’t contain any specific changes or optimizations for the system. But the security patch boosted the system security and user data privacy level that disables the hacker to enter the device.

  • Honor 30 Youth Edition (MXW-AN00)
  • Honor 30 Youth Edition (MXW-TN00)

We recommend you to not wait for the OTA update notification and keep checking the update section manually. Also, before proceeding towards the update, make sure that the device must be charged 20% and above.

Further, it has sufficient memory to download the update package. For fast and buffer-free download, use stable WiFi or data connection.

How to check for updates manually:

To manually download this update via mobile Settings– open Settings > click on the System & updates > open Software update > tap on Check for updates option > (if an update is available) click on Download and install > after installation, restart the device.

Alternatively, you can download it via My Huawei App – open My Huawei app on your device > Go to update section > Follow on-screen instructions > (if an update is available) click on Download and install > after installation reboot the device.
