Ben Simmons won't give up in his attempts to leave the Philadelphia 76ers as soon as possible. Thanks to his antics, the point guard has been word of mouth this offseason, becoming one of the most recurrent topics in the league.

He has made it clear he won't return to the Sixers next season and wants to be traded to continue his career. The team is trying to get the best offer for the Australian, but the market for the player isn't as big as the franchise wants.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, with Ben not showing up to training camp, the team is not paying his $8.25 million due today. Regardless, Simmons isn't worried about that and will continue skipping team activities.

Sources: The 76ers are not paying Ben Simmons his $8.25 million payment due today as the three-time All-Star awaits a trade. Simmons still is not showing up to Philadelphia and has understood the ramifications of his holdout.

Ben is ready to go until the final consequences to leave this franchise. His relationship with the team and the fans is damaged, and nothing can change that. It remains to be seen how this situation will end, but Simmons' days in Philly are counted.
