Stephen Curry continues to rule the NBA with his phenomenal performances season after season. He surprised everyone after leading the Golden State Warriors to the 2022 NBA Championship.
For his efforts in the 2022 NBA Finals, Curry won the first NBA Finals MVP of his career. Steph is currently undoubtedly the best point guard in the league and still has a few good years left in his tank.
As a result, many expect him to win at least one more ring before retiring from the NBA. Another great point guard who is closing in on his retirement is the Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul.
The 37-year-old revived his career after joining the Suns and has been instrumental to their success in the regular season. CP3 will be a Hall of Famer in the future and it's no doubt that he has been one of the top players in the league for a very long time.
But despite that, Paul has failed to win an NBA title yet. It's quite shocking considering he has been part of some pretty amazing rosters over the years.
Anyway, coming back to CP3 and Steph, Paul has been in the league for so long that he once trained with a rookie Steph during his training camp in 2010.
Throughout the training camp the two players went at it and played with great intensity as fans loved it.
Chris Paul And Stephen Curry Became Great Rivals
Paul might have never thought that when he trained with Curry in 2010, the two players will have a great rivalry in the 2010s. Over the years, the two players have participated in several amazing matches and obviously given their best against each other.
The above-attached video is one of the nastiest crossovers that fans have ever seen in the league. Steph made Paul completely lose his balance and made him fall on the floor.
But that's the beauty of Steph and CP3's rivalry. A few years later, Paul took his revenge and pulled an amazing crossover against Curry.
Following the crossover, CP3 also made sure to hit the Shimmy celebration, which Steph has done several times.
Upon seeing this from Paul, Curry couldn't stop himself from letting out a smile. While their rivalry has been great, it's only a matter of a few years before it's over. Paul is 37 and Curry is 34, so within a few years both players will retire from the league.
