Rich Paul Slams Haters Who Say His Connection With LeBron James Makes Him Push His Clients To The Lakers

Rich Paul has blasted the people that suggest his being friends with LeBron James makes him push his clients to join the Los Angeles Lakers.

And the powerbrokers are at the top, the owners and GMs make the decisions, and the agents represent the players and make things move around the league. 

Rich Paul has become one of the most prominent agents in the NBA. Klutch Sports has a lot of big names on its list of clients. His relationship with LeBron James has undoubtedly helped him reach the heights he has, but Paul has worked to establish himself as well; he really goes to bat for his clients. Rich Paul Got Back At The People Saying He Pushes His Clients To The Lakers

Out of the top 10 clients that Rich Paul and Klutch Sports have in the league, only 2 of them are on the Lakers. Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, and Gary Trent Jr. are all on different teams, to name a few. And Paul told GQ what he thinks about the people that say he funnels his clients. 

"Well, you have the casual fan that just thinks one-dimensionally. And in some ways it's a little disrespectful to who I am, and what I do every day, because people always try to tie it to: because you represent LeBron, and he's on the Lakers, that everybody you represent, you want to put on the Lakers.

"That can't be further from the truth. I think it's important for people to understand that, at the end of the day, I run a business. And my business isn't predicated on anything outside of making each and every client individually positioned for success."

The fact that Rich paul called those who say things like this 'casuals' just goes to show the disdain he feels for the narrative. There is some truth to the fact that LeBron James is his primary and biggest client, but Rich Paul is here to stay in the NBA for a long time after James calls it on his legendary career.
