Shannon Sharpe has been known as one of the biggest LeBron James defenders in the media, even overshadowing his NFL career at times. The former tight end was really great at his job and was one of the biggest trash-talkers in the league, but right now, he's more famous for other things. 

Sharpe has had some great moments on TV, going at it with Skip Bayless over LeBron James and the GOAT debate. He even warned the King about staying on the Lakers and ruining his final years in the NBA. 

This perfectly shows how big of a LeBron fan Shannon is and recently, life gave him a huge blessing in the form of a grandchild. The NFL Hall of Famer revealed the big news in a recent edition of FS1's Undisputed.

To make things better for the brand-new grandpa, the baby was born on December 30, the same day LeBron James was born 38 years ago. He was very excited about it and instantly called the newborn 'Baby GOAT' in honor of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar. 

While Shannon was raving about his first grandchild, LeBron James also delivered, but he put up a terrific game. The King went against the Atlanta Hawks and demolished them, dropping 47 on them and showing that he's still beating Father Time. 

The King is really that guy and he keeps proving doubters wrong with his performances. He keeps setting records and demonstrating that his longevity is off the charts. The Los Angeles Lakers are wasting another season of LeBron thriving and no matter how mad he gets or the criticism they get from fans, the front office won't make any moves to improve the roster. 

With Anthony Davis out, James has taken over, but more often than not, it hasn't been enough for them.
