The Serge Ibaka experience with the Milwaukee Bucks hasn't been the best of all, as the player and the team aren't on the same page, and the big man has been separated from the rest of the squad this season.

Ibaka was expected to help this team reach the NBA Finals again last season, but things didn't work out for him. During this campaign, the big man hasn't seen that much action, and the front office is reportedly working on shipping him away before the February trade deadline.

Serge can still provide a lot for many teams, but his place in the world now is out of Milwaukee. In recent months, he's been involved in some curious moments, including the controversial exchange he had with Kendrick Perkins after his former teammate accused him of faking his age. He also was trolled by Kevin Durant on Twitter in a funnier situation.

Serge Ibaka Is Close To Leaving The Milwaukee Bucks

Back to now, Ibaka is on the verge of leaving the Bucks, as Shams Charania reports that the 2021 NBA champions and Ibaka have agreed to part ways and see which team around the league wants to trade for the veteran.

"The Milwaukee Bucks and center Serge Ibaka have mutually agreed to find the 14-year NBA veteran a new home via trade as he remains away from the team," the insider revealed.

The Bucks remain one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, taking over the Nets in the second position in the standings. They have had some rough patches during the season, but they know they can compete at the best level and aspire to win another championship.

Ibaka, as things stand now, won't be part of a potential title, but he's still ready to help another team reach its goals this campaign. This partnership didn't work out, but Milwaukee remains a top candidate in the association.
