Stephen A. Smith sent a big message to Ja Morant amid his controversies, especially the one involving a gun.

The player made the rounds around the league on Saturday, and the ESPN analyst made it clear that the league is aware of everything, and they know everything about Ja's relationships.

“So many times, we don’t tell these players this,” Smith said. “NBA has off-duty police officers. They’ve got connections with the FBI. They’ve got connections with everybody. The NBA knows what you’re doing. They know who you’re doing it with. They know where you are. And they know how you’re conducting yourself at all times.”

Smith sent a direct message to Ja on NBA Countdown, reminding him of all the good things that are about to happen to him, and he can't afford to lose all of that for this childish behavior.

“You are a superstar,” he added. “You got a deal that kicks in next year that could exceed $231 million over the next five years. And on this show, on national television, is you associated with police. Think about that for a second. And then ask yourself, is it really, really worth it? You know the answer to that, bro. It’s not worth it.”

Many people have talked about this situation, some showing their support to Ja like Paul Pierce, and others offering advice to the controversial player. Jalen Rose and Matt Barnes have tried to give some encouraging words for Ja. This is the biggest storyline in the NBA right now, and everybody has something to say about it.

Carmelo Anthony Found Out The NBA Was Connected To The Feds

On the same note as Smith, Carmelo Anthony once found out that the NBA had connections with the FBI when he had a simple conversation with late commissioner David Stern

Melo learned a lot about the league that day, and that's something that many players seem to ignore right now. In recent months, current and former players have been involved in controversy, and the league is always paying attention to anything they do.
