There are times when fans behave in an improper fashion at NBA games, which leads to either a warning or sometimes in more serious cases an ejection. It seems as though that has happened today.

Recently, a video went viral of Kyrie Irving getting a fan ejected from the Mavericks-Hornets game. It is clear that Irving wasn't happy with the fan's conduct, and that resulted in the fan getting tossed out.

An NBA player getting a fan ejected is not a strange occurrence these days, and we have seen other stars such as Russell Westbrook do the same thing. It'll be interesting to see if Kyrie Irving explains what the fan did.

As of right now, Kyrie Irving is averaging 27.1 PPG, 5.1 RPG, and 5.3 APG for the season. The Dallas Mavericks have recently lost two back-to-back games against the Charlotte Hornets, and they'll need Kyrie Irving to play even better to get back in the play-in picture.

Kyrie Irving Recently Clapped Back At Mavericks Fans For Booing Him

Kyrie Irving has had a lot of altercations with fans before, and he was recently booed by Mavericks fans in their game against the Hornets. Kyrie Irving ended up clapping back at the fans, simply saying that if fans want to change places, they're welcome to.

"So what? ... You obviously want to play well, but you it's only five people on the court that can play for Dallas Mavericks. If the fans wanna change places, then hey, be my guest. Got years of work ahead to be great enough to be on this level," said Irving.

There's no question that Kyrie Irving is unhappy about getting a hostile reception from his home fans. It is easy to see why he's frustrated, as home fans are generally expected to cheer for their team and spur them on. However, it is clear that the fans wanted him and the team to play better, which is what resulted in the boos.

The Dallas Mavericks will need to be borderline perfect down the stretch if they are to make the play-in tournament, and potentially the playoffs. They have a solid offensive trio in Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and Christian Wood, and it'll be interesting to see how they do in the coming weeks.
