LeBron James and Co. couldn't match the level of the Los Angeles Clippers in their recent matchup in the 2022-23 NBA season.

It was the first time Russell Westbrook faced the Lakers since getting traded earlier this season. Well, it seems like, for a brief moment, LeBron James forgot that Brodie no longer plays for the Lakers. He mistakenly passed the ball to Westbrook while sitting on the Clippers' bench.

Russell Westbrook enjoyed the mistake by the King as he appreciated the pass by shouting 'good pass.'

LeBron James is usually the best passer on the floor when he plays, so it was a rare mistake from him. But fans certainly enjoyed this brief hysterical moment between the two former teammates.

Russell Westbrook Taunted LeBron James During The Lakers vs. Clippers Game

When Russell Westbrook was a part of the Lakers, he shouldered most of the burden of the team's struggles for almost two seasons. Many expected Westbrook to clap back at his former team, and he did just that.

Russ did so by taunting none other than LeBron James after drilling a jumper in his face. NBA fans loved the aggressiveness from Brodie against the Purple and Gold.

Westbrook finished the game with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. But considering he played just 21 minutes in the win vs. the Lakers, Russ could have had a much better stat line.

Either way, the Clippers got the job done and now have a 42-38 record. They are tied with the Golden State Warriors but currently hold the fifth seed in the conference.

As for the Lakers, they have dropped to a 41-39 record and to the seventh seed in the West. Can the Purple and Gold still make one last effort to book a permanent spot in the postseason? They have two games left to do so.
