Carmelo Anthony Shares How He Trash-Talked Michael Jordan During Practice: "You Are Too Small. You're A Light A**."

Carmelo Anthony collected many incredible stories during his NBA career, including the time LeBron James saved his life, which made him even closer to the four-time NBA champion. 

Anthony made some mistakes along the way, including not aligning his contract with James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. But that wasn't the only thing. Melo once trash-talked Michael Jordan, which was proven to be a big mistake. 

“You cannot argue with that man [Michael Jordan], it’s impossible,” Melo said on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game show when asked if he ever disrespected Jordan (2:20 mark).

“He knows a certain of us you know that we go back at him like we’ll talk our sh*t to him. But then he gets to start talking about winning and rings and sh*t. That’s his defense mechanism.”

Jordan knows he has accomplished what the vast majority of players will never, and he uses that to his advantage. Melo tried to get under his skin, and perhaps he achieved it, but Mike had a big response to that. 

Asking what he told Jordan to infuriate him, Anthony revealed he messed with the GOAT's height and weight. 

"[I told him] he was too small. He made me run around the game, I was out of shape. 'You get tired chasing me,' he used to say things like that. I told him, 'Hey man, you're too small. He was light. You're light a**, man.'"

That's the reason why Jordan snapped at Melo and reminded him that he had a terrific career and nobody from his generation could touch him. Still, it seems like Melo couldn't be quiet and dared Jordan more than once.
