Video: Jonathan Kuminga Unbelievably Heads A Soccer Ball 10 Feet In The Air

Jonathan Kuminga has been in the league for two seasons now, and as a lottery pick, there are some serious expectations from him moving forward. While his game still needs some work, Kuminga has shown that he has truly elite athletic ability already.

Kuminga is capable of making highlight plays on both ends of the floor. And for those that had any doubt left about how much of a freak athlete he is, a recent video of him might put those doubts to bed.

Soccer mania has gripped the United States a little since Lionel Messi arrived in Miami and got welcomed by none other than LeBron James. And Kuminga seems to be getting in on the action while visiting the training ground of a pro soccer team. With a ball hung 10 feet in the air, the Warriors man got a running start and managed to get his head on it.

To put this into perspective, a regulation NBA rim is 10 feet off the ground. Not only did Kuminga reach that height with his head, this just goes to show that he would be able to dunk the ball with ease whenever the opportunity presented itself. The video went viral on social media, and it will only whet the appetite of fans who have been waiting to watch him play for a long time.

Draymond Green Is Expecting Jonathan Kuminga To Get Unlocked Next Season

The Golden State Warriors haven't truly figured out how to use Kuminga yet, he has averaged 9.6 points, and 3.4 rebounds per game in his first two NBA seasons. But the team has now acquired Chris Paul, someone that can get the most out of his athletic teammates, and Draymond Green seems to think this will be great for the 20-year-old

“I think Chris Paul will completely unlock Jonathan Kuminga in his growth. Deandre Ayton looked like a bust before CP3 came to Phoenix. No disrespect to Ayton, but more of a nod to CP. What he would do for Jonathan Kuminga and unlocking him is huge.”

Ironically enough, Green himself might be a hindrance to Kuminga who he has no relationship with, according to reports. But the onus is on the youngster to take his place in the league. All he has to do is aim high and take the leap, exactly what he did in the video that went viral.
