The Outside Lands Music Festival witnessed a jaw-dropping surprise as NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal took the stage for an electrifying DJ set that left fans in awe. He also invited Warriors star Gary Payton II to join him on stage as Shaq as he closed out his set.

On the opening day of the festival at Golden Gate Park, Shaquille O'Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, delivered a late-afternoon set that had the crowd buzzing. He kicked off his performance in Hellman Hollow with a unique excuse for his tardiness

"Sorry I’m late. I was chilling with Steph Curry and Draymond Green."

Throughout his set, DJ Diesel showcased his deep connection to the Golden State Warriors, frequently shouting out to the crowd and paying homage to San Francisco. His musical selection included a mix of industrial beats that ignited the audience, resulting in spirited mosh pits and an atmosphere of excitement.

The music veered away from O'Neal's well-known rap tracks, introducing festival-goers to a more intense and driving sound that kept them captivated.

In a surprising twist, DJ Diesel invited stage crashers to join him, creating an interactive experience for fans. Amidst the energetic beats, fans danced and took selfies with O'Neal, adding a personal touch to the performance.

The spectacle reached its peak when an enthusiastic fan climbed onto O'Neal's shoulders, eliciting cheers from the crowd.

Adding a local touch to the performance, DJ Diesel welcomed Warriors guard Gary Payton II to the stage, delighting fans with an unexpected collaboration.

The duo closed out the set with a powerful rendition of Queen's iconic anthem "We Are the Champions," creating a triumphant and memorable conclusion to their performance.
