Cam'ron Reacts To Rumor That LeBron James Set Up A Date For Him With Nia Long

Harlem rapper Cam'ron finally crossed paths with Nia Long at Rich Paul's birthday party. With the pictures of their meeting going viral, rumors soon started circulating that LeBron James had set them up for a date to get back at Ime Udoka, Long's ex-fiancee. Cam'ron was asked about the rumor and he had a hilarious reaction to it.

"If it's any truth to it, thank you, I appreciate it," Cam'ron said on It Is What It Is. "But I see a lot of 'Don't fumble kid.' Look, I'm not with Nia Long. I met her, she did not give me her number. I actually gave her my number but she didn't give me hers. We have not spoke, we took a couple of (pictures)."

The rumor going around was that LeBron and Paul invited both Cam'ron and Long to the party intending to set them up on a date, as a means to get back at Udoka. The reason for that, of course, was the altercation between James and Udoka in the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets earlier this month. 

Leaked audio of the altercation indicated that Udoka used some colorful language when talking to LeBron and this meeting of Cam'ron and Long was supposedly payback. It was certainly a bit of a stretch and the rapper confirmed it here that they aren't dating.

As for Long and Udoka, they had reportedly started dating in 2010 and had a child together in 2011. The two then got engaged in 2015 and things were seemingly going great.

That was until Udoka was suspended by the Boston Celtics last year for allegedly getting into a relationship with a female staffer on the team. Long unsurprisingly split with Udoka a few months after this cheating scandal came to light, and is now drawing a lot of attention from other men.

Cam'ron's Wild DM To Nia Long

All this talk about Cam'ron and Long really began after he hilariously revealed he tried to shoot his shot with her. In an earlier episode, Cam'Ron shared the wild DM that he had sent to Long after the Udoka scandal.

"Hey stink," the message read. "I Was giving you some time to yourself till I reached out. Your perseverance as a strong black woman through this turbulent time has been something to behold. You shouldn't be taken advantage of and exploited as you did nothing to deserve this. Especially all over these sports networks. You're bigger and better then that. He sadly revealed that he had sent it last year but Long hadn't opened it. When they met at the party, the 47-year-old asked her about the DM and while she still hadn't opened it, she saw it online. Long's reaction to it? Well, she thought it was "fly" and called him a very funny individual.
