LeBron James After Returning From 20-Game Absence: "I Don't Think I'll Ever Get Back To 100% In My Career"

LeBron James finally returned to action on Friday night after being sidelined for one month and 10 days. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar was missed by his team since he suffered a high ankle sprain last March 20 but he's finally back, although things didn't go as planned for him and the team.

Lakers fans were excited when news that the King was returning to the court saw the light; the purple and gold have struggled without Bron this campaign and his return was something they were looking forward to.

However, the 17-time NBA champions couldn't do the job and succumbed to the Sacramento Kings, 106-110. After the game was over, James talked about his injury and how he feels coming back to action after over a month of inactivity.

His words weren't precisely encouraging and it's fair to say the alarms are set at the Staples Center.

"Getting back to 100 percent is impossible. I don't think I'll get back to 100 percent in my career."

Bron still claimed that he feels he can be impactful for the team and help his teammates win this season. But, the performance of the squad raised some eyebrows and Frank Vogel wasn't so happy with what he saw on the court.

There's still hope for the Lakers and Andre Drummond believes it'll be a matter of time before we see the Lakers playing at the highest level again, becoming the most dangerous rival in the league again.

Right now, they rank 5th in the Western Conference but the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers are on the hunt to snatch that position from the Californians. We have entered the final stretch of the season and this month will be huge for the Lakers. If they aspire to defend their title, this month will be crucial for that.
