Steph Curry Is Having One Of His Best Seasons Ever: 1st In The NBA In Points, 40-Point Games, And 3-Pointers Made

When it comes to the 2021 NBA MVP conversation, two big names top the list: Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid.

But perhaps it's time to throw in another name: Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, who is actually having one of the best individual seasons of his career.

Besides his averages of 31.3 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game on 48.7% shooting, he's leading the league in several important categories.

Curry is, undoubtedly, having a stellar campaign, and his play is almost singlehandedly keeping the Warriors in the playoff hunt.

Unfortunately, and perhaps most damaging to Curry's MVP campaign, is their overall record. At 31-32, they stand just 10th in the West, a rather low place to be for a team that has achieved so much success over the past few years.

No doubt, injuries, and a COVID-19 riddled campaign have made things difficult, and it's no surprise to see the team struggling in this capacity.

The hope is that, with some time, the roster will heal and a healthy Steph, Klay, and Draymond can re-claim their status as title contenders.

In the meantime, Curry is going to continue lighting up the league while he can. And for a guy with 11 seasons under his belt, that's a pretty impressive run.
