Trae Young has shown his status as a superstar in this league by bringing the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals. So far, we have seen Young's dazzling play lift up the Atlanta Hawks in every series that they've been in. Part of Trae Young's game is the showmanship: there are plenty of examples of him doing things such as shimmying mid-game, which many people view as showboating.

Malika Andrews has recently asked Trae Young about his showmanship in games. It seems as though Trae Young got that aspect of the game from other players who are willing to show off, such as Reggie Miller and Stephen Curry. Young also pointed out that the NBA is an entertainment product, which definitely plays a part in it. (2:08)

Seeing some of my favorite players do it. Seeing Steph do it, seeing all the Reggie Millers of the world. Seeing the guys before me who made big plays in big moments. Understanding that this is an entertainment sport, and it's fun. When you have fun, you get to do things like that.

It is clear that Trae Young's attitude is key. He is a superstar who is supremely confident in himself, and it shows when he is out in the playoffs, quieting opposing arenas. There's no doubt that Young's showmanship makes watching him extremely entertaining, and perhaps he will keep it up during his Eastern Conference Finals series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
