Giannis Antetokounmpo has proven his doubters wrong during this 2021 NBA playoff run. The Greek Freak led the Milwaukee Bucks to the NBA Finals, posting incredible numbers in the process.

The job is not done yet, and Giannis will try to tie the series this Wednesday at Fiserv Forum. Several people have praised the 2x NBA MVP after becoming the leader his team needs in the postseason. Bill Simmons recently shared his thoughts on this version of Giannis, admitting that he looks like other all-time greats.

On a recent edition of The Bill Simmons Podcast, the controversial analyst said he didn't think Giannis had what it takes to win, but now things look slightly different. Talking with Kevin O'Connor, Simmons said (around the 20-minute mark):

"I thought he was missing some chromosome that the great ones have, and now I'm wondering if he has it. I really didn't feel that way until Game 2, Game 3..."

Kevin O'Connor: "I mean, I think he has all his chromosomes..."

He didn't use the right word to define what Giannis has (or lacks), but O'Connor, and the people, understood what he meant. Well, Antetokounmpo does have what it takes to be great in this league, and he's showing that this season.

In fact, he became the second player to record back-to-back 40-PT, 10-REB games in the NBA Finals, emulating Shaquille O'Neal. He's done a lot for his squad, becoming the reason why they still have a chance in the series.

The Bucks can tie the series 2-2 if they win Game 4 tomorrow, and Giannis will try to give them a pivotal W to keep their chances alive against the Phoenix Suns.
