The Olympics are a chance for a lot of American NBA stars to play with one another in a more competitive setting. While Team USA usually has a lot of talent, winning the Olympics is no easy feat. Currently, Team USA Basketball is currently in a training camp to prepare for the event.

There is no question that NBA stars talk to one another about the possibilities of teaming up with one another. We've seen Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving form a superteam in Brooklyn by going there together in free agency, and perhaps there will be more superteams formed in the future. Playing together on Team USA will definitely give players the opportunity to talk to other stars, and potentially plan for team-ups. Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has recently stated that there will be "a lot" of talk among the players about that particular subject.

Winning the gold medal at the Olympics is likely the main concern for Team USA as a whole, but it seems as though some players will try to recruit other stars to their NBA teams while representing their countries. Some of the players on the team have been involved in trade talks before, and perhaps we will see more superteams form as a result of stars trying to team up with one another.
