It's been a while since we saw the best version of Kevin Love. He's endured multiple injuries and the Cleveland Cavaliers have been far from a contending team, so they haven't rushed him back to the court.

Then again, it's hard to believe that a player as talented and impactful as Love doesn't have some left in the tank. We saw former All-Stars make a big impact on a limited role like Blake Griffin for the Brooklyn Nets, and that could also be Love's case.

That's why, finally, the Cavaliers are expected to explore the trade market for the former NBA Champion, according to Sam Amico of Hoops Wire.

"Love, 32, has two years and $60 million left on his contract and is coming off another injury-riddled season, appearing in just 25 games and averaging career-lows in points (12.2) and rebounds (7.4). Per sources, potential Love suitors include the Pelicans, 76ers, Heat, Clippers and Trail Blazers. It is believed Love is hoping to move on from the Cavs, but no trade requests have been made and sources say there’s no reason to believe a request is forthcoming," reported Amico.

Kevin Love is a great rebounder that can score from all three levels. He hasn't been his usual self as of late and he's been clearly frustrated with losing so much.

Every team mentioned in Amico's report would benefit from his veteran presence and ability to stretch the floor. Then again, absorbing his big salary and his injury woes could be a red flag for multiple teams.

Love deserves to play for a championship contender as the end of his career is looming. Hopefully, he'll get that chance next season.
