Two years after winning their first NBA championship, the Toronto Raptors are seemingly entering a rebuilding process to assemble another competitive team. Kyle Lowry is on his way out of the team, and another important piece of that championship run could be on the move, too.

Every team in the league is trying to make moves for the present and the future. The Raptors are one of those who recently engaged in trade talks to land Portland Trail Blazers' CJ McCollum.

With Damian Lillard's future up in the air, the Blazers started looking for alternatives to bring the best possible talent. Dame is ready to win a championship, but he clarified that the team needs to step up and get quality pieces.

Well, Siakam could have made his way to Oregon, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report. A couple of days ago, it was reported that the point guard wants to play with a mobile big man, and Siakam could be the answer to that.

There has also been an intriguing CJ McCollum-Pascal Siakam trade framework discussed between Portland and Toronto, though talks between the teams have yet to generate significant momentum, sources said. Rival executives believe the Raptors' selection of Scottie Barnes seemingly reinforces Siakam's availability for trade.

These two teams have big questions to answer this offseason. While the Raptors are trying to assemble a team with youth and experience to try to compete in the East, the Blazers are looking to add the best players to make a run at the NBA championship.

This won't be the last time we see these two guys involved in trade rumors this summer.
