The Milwaukee Bucks have recently won Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, even without former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Milwaukee Bucks had plenty of players who contributed extra on the offensive end with Antetokounmpo's absence. It is clear that the Bucks have other talented on the roster aside from Antetokounmpo.

Skip Bayless has recently suggested that the Milwaukee Bucks are a better playoff team without their former MVP. When making his argument, Bayless suggested that Giannis Antetokounmpo's shooting woes demoralize the team. (5:50)

Are you sure that the Milwaukee Bucks aren’t a little better all-around basketball team, playoff basketball team without Giannis? I have never been the biggest Giannis fan I’ve been staunch in my opinion about this from day one... He is a regular-season stat machine...

When when you shoot airballs in big playoff games, it takes the heart out of your team your team loses faith and trust in the best player by far on the floor.

Yeah, so basketball is a five-man game. And last night they played five-man basketball….. They won by 11 because they just look like the better, stronger, more physical, more dominant in the paint basketball team.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo may not be the best shooter, it is hard to say that a team is better without the former MVP. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been one of the most consistent performers in the playoffs, and he currently averages 28.2 PPG, 12.7 RPG, and 5.2 APG.

There is no question that the Milwaukee Bucks performed well without their MVP, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're better without him. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the leader of his team, and if he manages to return this season, the team will only get better.
