Clint Capela is extending his stay with the Atlanta Hawks. After one year with the team, the big man has earned another contract with the franchise, which will keep him on board for the next four seasons.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the center is signing a two-year, $46 million contract extension with the Hawks. This new deal puts the player in place to earn $82M-plus with Atlanta over the next four years.

After living big moments with the Houston Rockets, Capela found his place in the world with the Hawks following a 12-man trade in 2020. Last season, they reached the Eastern Conference Finals, with Trae Young leading the way.

They hope to continue improving next season, with Clint ready to help the team succeed once again. The future looks bright for the Hawks, and if they keep reaching new levels, we could be watching a title-contending organization sooner than later.
