The Los Angeles Clippers unveiled the company Intuit as the naming rights partner for their new arena, the Intuit Dome, on Friday. The unveiling is part of a 23-year partnership with the global technology company.

The $1.8 billion, 18,000-seat Intuit Dome is scheduled to open in Inglewood, Calif., for the 2024-25 season. The Clippers currently share Los Angeles’ downtown Staples Center with the Lakers.

The groundbreaking for the Intuit Dome is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Friday.

Steve Ballmer's team had plans of building an arena in Inglewood and finally move on from the STAPLES Center. Now, they're set to debut for the 2024-25 season on a site of their own.

The Clippers look to build a new identity and engage more fans in the city. While it's not a secret that Los Angeles has always been a Lakers town, having their own arena will certainly help them grow their fanbase.

In fact, the Clippers have already opened a waitlist for season tickets for the 2024-25 season.

The Clippers have become one of the biggest powerhouses in the Western Conference since Steve Ballmer took over. He's been aggressive and determined to take the franchise to new heights.

So, who knows? Maybe they'll debut with a trip to the NBA Finals.
