The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a slow start this year, but they have slowly been putting it together. With their recent win against the Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Lakers have moved back to having a positive record of 4-3.

While a lot of fans have previously roasted the Los Angeles Lakers for starting off slow and losing to a rebuilding team in the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Lakers fans came out in droves to celebrate their team's win against the Rockets. Many claimed that the Lakers are back and that it's over for the league as a whole. Some lauded Carmelo Anthony for his amazing night.

Some non-Lakers fans pointed out that the Rockets almost made a comeback. While this was a solid win, there's work ahead for the Lakers. However, the good news is, there's still a lot of games left to be played prior to the playoffs.

It remains to be seen how well the Los Angeles Lakers will do for the rest of the season, and there'll be some good wins and bad losses on the way to the postseason. However, championship teams aren't built in a day, and expecting that is folly. Even LeBron James has previously claimed that "it was going to be a process" for the Lakers to get where they want to be. It makes sense that the team would take time to gel and build chemistry considering the roster turnaround from last season. As long as they are at their peak by playoff time, that's all that matters.

Hopefully, this win is a sign of good things to come for the Los Angeles Lakers. A win is a win, and even if the Lakers didn't have the best performance, they managed to gut it out and get the victory.
