Nick Young is currently out of the NBA, but that doesn't mean he hasn't stayed relevant within the community. The former Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors player makes some headlines every now and then with his bold takes and funny comments.

He's had a very interesting life on and off the court, starring in very interesting moments during his tenure in the NBA. One of the most infamous happened when he confessed to cheating on his then-girlfriend Iggy Azalea, which instantly ended his relationship with the Australian rapper.

It's been years since that moment and the NBA never forgets. This scandal was bigger when people knew that it was D'Angelo Russell, Young's former teammate, who shared the video where Young did his confession. Just like the public, Swaggy P hasn't forgotten about it, and his animosity towards D'Lo is still huge.

Nick Young Says He'd Box D'Angelo Russell And More People

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix, Young was asked if there was a player he'd like to box, and he didn't hesitate. Young first dropped Russell's name before adding more people to that interesting list, which includes players on his former teams and even coaches.

“Of course, you know, D-Lo – D’Angelo,” Young said. "Some guys on the Warriors, some guys on the Lakers. A couple of coaches."

Mannix then joked saying that he could earn a lot of money with a hypothetical fight with D'Angelo Russell and Young couldn't help but agree with that statement while laughing.

"For sure," he added.

This situation was huge at the time, with Russell being isolated from his teammates after 'snitching' on Young. He was eventually traded to the Brooklyn Nets, where he reached his peak, becoming an All-Star and leading his squad to the postseason.

After that, he couldn't make an impact on the Golden State Warriors. Now, he's part of the Minnesota Timberwolves that aspire to compete in the West following an entertaining offseason. D'Lo hasn't found the same success he enjoyed in Brooklyn, and some say he could be traded soon.

As for Young, he's out of the league and it's unclear if he wants to return to the competition. The last time he played in the NBA, he defended the Denver Nuggets colors, having discreet participation on the team.
