Stephen A. Smith Revealed How He Destroyed Glenn Robinson After Big Dog Confronted Him: "Motherfker Fk You Think?"

Stephen A. Smith is as outspoken and brash an NBA media personality as they come. He has never been afraid to say what he thinks, and at times, this has ended up getting him into trouble with players.

One such confrontation happened between him and 'Big Dog' Glenn Robinson. Smith told the story of how Robinson came at him in a locker room and how he stood his ground and gave it right back to him.

“I walk into the locker room and Big Dog gets in my face, ‘Yo motherf**ker, I saw what the hell you said,’” Smith recalled. “He said, ‘You no-good, sorry a** motherf**ker, blah blah blah.’

“And I said, ‘My turn. I appreciate your honesty cuz I feel the exact same way about your sorry a**, you motherf**ker. F**k you think, blah blah blah…’ We get into it and he was like, he said, ‘You don’t know who I am. I’m from Gary, Indiana.’ And I said, ‘Motherf**ker, so is Michael Jackson.’”

This is a heated exchange for a media personality to get into with an NBA player, but Smith has never been afraid to voice his opinions. He says what he wants to and has the guts to back it up if someone tries to go at him.

And Big Dog Robinson wasn't just another guy, he played 11 years in the league primarily for the Milwaukee Bucks, got selected to the All-Star team twice, and retired as an NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs. Smith not being afraid of talking his talk to Robinson is even more impressive than if it were anybody else.

Stephen A. Smith's Current NBA Nemesis Seems To Be Kyrie Irving

While it has been decades since Glenn 'Big Dog' Robinson retired, Stephen A. Smith has only become more prolific and his fame has grown. In the current era, the player he has beefed with the most is Kyrie Irving, calling him out using harsh terms on every occasion, including earlier in 2023 when he requested a trade away from the Brooklyn Nets

He has admitted that he has personal issues with Irving and the mercurial guard has gone back at him as well. The situation has never escalated beyond words being exchanged via the media, though. Considering this story Smith himself told, it might not be the best idea to let Smith into a room with one of the players that has a bone to pick with him, either.
