LeBron James has a lot left to achieve in the NBA if he wants to retire as the consensus GOAT. But while he remains focused on adding to his list of basketball achievements, he remains just as invested in growing his business and net worth.

LeBron James is an early backer of the tequila brand Lobos 1707. He often promotes the brand on social media. He shared a story on Instagram showing love to the founders and team behind the company, along with a wholesome message.

"I love this squad!! We built a bigger table and it's cool to be sitting around amazing people! Cheers," LeBron James wrote in his story.

Diego Osorio launched Mickvan Spirits 1707 in 2020 along with CEO Mally Nognum and Lobos 1707 tequila is the flagship product of the brand.

LeBron James got involved with them as an early backer in 2020 itself when he was cultivating an interest in tequila. LeBron James has long been known as a wine connoisseur and he jumped behind Lobos wholeheartedly, the result has been a huge success for the brand and the Los Angeles Lakers fan.

LeBron's Lobos Beat Jordan's Cincoro In World Spirits Tequila Competition

LeBron James is the closest any NBA player has ever been to challenging Michael Jordan's GOAT status. Off the court, he has found similar success too, having become a billionaire just like Jordan.

Another area the two are competing in is tequila. LeBron James' Lobos 1707 tequila is a direct competitor to Michael Jordan's own Cincoro Brand.

The two spirits went head to head in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, with LeBron James' Lobos 1707 beating Michael Jordan's Cincoro tequila at the event.

While it doesn't mean much in terms of the larger GOAT conversation, knowing how competitive both men are, it's got to have felt good for LeBron James. He is often placed behind Michael Jordan in the all-time rankings so any victory is sweet.

More than that though, LeBron James will aim to maximize the business and make as much money on his investment as he can. As the brand ambassador, he has contributed to its growth a lot already.

Lobos 1707 Tequila Price And More

The Lobos 1707 brand has multiple bottles of tequila available for sale. This includes the Lobos 1707 Tequila Joven, Reposado, Extra Anejo, and the Mezcal Artesanal.

The price for a 750ml bottle of the Lobos 1707 Tequila, Joven, is $44.99, but the brand's highest pricing is for the Extra Anejo, which costs as much as $150 for a 750ml bottle.

And while the pricing goes to show what a luxury product it is, it has not stopped the company from taking the tequila market by storm. Lobos 1707 was listed by Forbes in 2022 as a Top 5 tequila in the world, which is a huge mark of distinction.

LeBron James is a savvy businessman, he has built an empire before even retiring from the NBA. Lobos 1707 is a cool and integral part of that, and his effort, along with the founders and their team is what has led them to success.

If LeBron James can help find this same synergy for the Los Angeles Lakers team next season, then a 5th NBA championship is far from out of the question.
