15 NBA Players Who Have Scored 30 Or More Points Against All 30 Teams

Damian Lillard entered the 2023-24 season with a team other than the Portland Trail Blazers for the first time in his 12-year career. Now, with the Milwaukee Bucks, Lillard had his first matchup against his former team on November 26. In that game, Lillard would score 31 points in a win but more importantly, he would make history in the process. Lillard became the 15th player in NBA history to score at least 30 points against all 30 teams in the league, joining 14 other NBA legends in the accomplishment.

These 15 elite scorers did the unimaginable by having at least one 30-point game against every opponent they faced in their NBA careers. Of these 15 players, three superstars will not be included, and they are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry.

Michael Jordan scored 30 or more points against every NBA team except the Chicago Bulls. He was on the Washington Wizards when he scored 29 points against his former team, the Chicago Bulls, missing this feat by exactly one point.

Kobe Bryant is another omission from this list, scoring 40 points or more against every NBA team but never leaving the Lakers in his career which makes him ineligible for such recognition.

Stephen Curry is in the same situation as Kobe Bryant. He scored 30 or more points against every NBA team except the Golden State Warriors, which is the main reason why he is not on this list.

Below, you can find the 15 NBA players who scored 30 or more points against all 30 teams in the league.

Antawn Jamison

Credit: Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Antawn Jamison was a 16-year NBA veteran who played for six teams from 1999 through 2014. Jamison would be a two-time All-Star in his career as well as the 2004 Sixth Man of the Year. For his career, he averaged 18.5 points per game but at his peak, he was a consistent scorer of over 20.0 points per game with the Warriors, Mavericks, and Wizards.

Jamison’s scoring resume includes his career-high of 51 points against both the Lakers and SuperSonics in back-to-back games during the 2000 season with the Golden State Warriors. He also recorded eight career 40-point games and 104 career 30-point games over 16 seasons. In his career, Jamison enjoyed playing three teams more than most.

In 38 games against the Clippers in his career, Jamison averaged 21.8 points per game on 48.1% shooting from the field. He also averaged over 21.0 points per game against the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors in his career, shooting over 45.0% against both teams in over 35 games played.

Donovan Mitchell

Credit: Brad Penner/USA Today Sports

The fact that Donovan Mitchell is already on this list at just 27 years old is incredibly impressive. Mitchell is currently in his seventh NBA season overall and second with the Cleveland Cavaliers after spending the first five in Utah with the Jazz. Last season, Mitchell joined this exclusive club after dropping 46 points in a win over Utah, his second game against his former team on the year.

Mitchell has been an elite scorer since entering the NBA in 2017-18. He has averaged 25.0 points per game or more every season since 2020-21 and a career-high 28.3 points per game in his first season with the Cavaliers in 2022-23. He is already a four-time All-Star and one-time All-NBA Team selection looking to add to his resume as his young career continues on.

Other than punishing his former team, Mitchell has a few teams in which he clearly enjoys playing more than others. In 14 career games against the Boston Celtics, Mitchell has averaged 29.6 points per game on 45.1% shooting. He also averages over 28.0 points per game against the Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, and Sacramento Kings while seeing all of them at least 12 times so far in his career.

Blake Griffin

During his early years in the NBA, Blake Griffin was one of the league’s main attractions with his propensity to jump over defenders and finish in violent fashion. His dunk contest performances are as memorable as any over the last 20 years as was his entire run with the Clippers from 2010 through 2018.

Griffin played 14 seasons in the NBA from 2010 through 2022-23 and became a Rookie of the Year, six-time All-Star, and five-time All-NBA Team selection. His career-high of 50 points came in 2018 when he was with the Pistons against the 76ers and he has recorded 11 other 40-point games as well as 87 30-point games in the last 14 seasons.

Griffin has enjoyed sustained success in his career against a handful of NBA teams. His career-high of 20.9 points per game against an opponent has come in 30 games against the Kings and 34 games against the Suns. He also averages over 20.0 points per game for his career against the Thunder, Jazz, Hornets, Timberwolves, Nuggets, and Knicks.

Amar’e Stoudemire

Credit: Jennifer Stewart-USA TODAY Sports

During the 2000s, there were few big men in the NBA who were as exciting or explosive as Amar’e Stoudemire was with the Phoenix Suns. In eight seasons with their high-powered offense, he averaged 21.4 points per game overall and reached over 25.0 points per game at his peak. After Phoenix, he would spend time with the Knicks, Mavericks, and Heat, finishing his career with an 18.9 points per game scoring average in 14 seasons on the court.

Stoudemire would earn Rookie of the Year honors in 2003 along with six All-Star selections and five All-NBA Team selections in his prime with Phoenix. He scored a career-high 50 points with the Suns one time during the 2005 season against the Trail Blazers along with 18 40-point games and 109 30-point games in his career.

The team that Stoudemire clearly enjoyed playing the most in his career was the Utah Jazz. In 30 games against Utah, Stoudemire averaged 21.2 points per game on 56.3% shooting. The punishment didn’t stop there. Stoudemire also has a career average of 20.0 points per game or more against the Pelicans, Knicks, Timberwolves, Clippers, Celtics, Rockets, Kings, and 76ers.

DeMar DeRozan

Credit: Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

DeMar DeRozan is a calculated and savvy veteran who is currently in the 15th season of a long and decorated NBA career with the Raptors, Spurs, and Bulls. In his 15 seasons of play, DeRozan has averaged 21.0 points per game on 46.7% shooting while earning six All-Star selections and three All-NBA Team selections along the way.

As one of the best mid-range shooters the game has ever seen, DeRozan continues to light up scoreboards even this late into his career. Both of his career 50-point games have come since the 2018 season with his most recent coming in 2021-22 against the Clippers in a win. DeRozan has also recorded 23 40-point games and 179 30-point games over the last 15 years.

While the punishment he laid out was welcomed by all, the opponent he has brutalized the most in his career has been the Portland Trail Blazers. In 29 career games against Portland, he has averaged 23.7 points per game on 46.4% shooting from the floor. He has also averaged at least 22.0 points per game against the Timberwolves, Heat, Spurs, Raptors, Magic, and Wizards.

Paul George

Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

In the last 14 seasons, we have watched Paul George continuously defy the odds and become one of the most skilled players in the NBA today. George has played for three different franchises in the last 14 seasons including the Pacers, Thunder, and the team he remains with today, the Los Angeles Clippers. George is currently averaging 20.7 points per game in his career but has averaged at least 23.8 points per game every season since 2020-21.

George’s career-high of 48 points came back in 2015 against the Utah Jazz which is one of 21 40-point games he has had in his career. He has also recorded 143 30-point games so making his way into this exclusive club has definitely come a bit easier for him.

Of all the teams he has punished with his scoring, his former team the Indiana Pacers has gotten it the worst. In eight games against them, George has averaged 28.3 points per game on 47.1% shooting. He has also averaged over 24.0 points per game against the Trail Blazers and Jazz.

Damian Lillard

Credit: Michael McLoone-USA TODAY Sports

This brings us to the latest player to join this exclusive club, Damian Lillard. After 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard headed into 2023-24 with the Milwaukee Bucks. It would take the seven-time All-Star just one game against his former team to score 31 points and join this list in a 108-102 win on November 26. I took to Fox Sports Radio Rochester this week to speak about the accomplishment with Host Ryan Verneuille.

As one of the greatest three-point shooting point guards ever, Lillard has had some extraordinary performances. In averaging over 30.0 points per game last season, Lillard dropped a career-high of 71 points against the Rockets as well as another 60-point game against the Jazz as well. They are two of five career 60-point games for Lillard who also has 15 career 50-point games, 55 40-point games, and 239 career 30-point games.

Aside from his one game against the Trail Blazers, Lillard clearly enjoys the bright lights and big stage. In 34 career games against the Golden State Warriors, Lillard has averaged 28.7 points per game on 40.6% shooting from three. In 35 career games against the Lakers, he has averaged 28.6 points per game on 39.6% shooting from three. He also averages 27.0 points per game or more against the Mavericks, Jazz, Spurs, and Wizards.

Vince Carter

Credit: Lou Capozzola-USA TODAY Sports

Often referred to as “Half-man, half-amazing”, Vince Carter is remembered fondly for the ferocious slams and endless highlights he provided us with for 22 seasons in the NBA. Often forgotten is the true nature of Carter’s scoring ability which topped 25.0 points per game on multiple occasions at his peak with the Raptors and Nets.

Carter had his career-high of 51 points as a member of both the Raptors and Nets in 200 and 2005 in victories over the Heat and Suns. They were two of his 32 career 40-point games and his 185 career 30-point games as well. Despite his incredible peak and longevity, the eight-time All-Star really showed out against the Atlanta Hawks in his career. In 50 games against Atlanta, Carter averaged 20.6 points per game against them, the only team he averaged over 20.0 points per game against in his career.

Carmelo Anthony

Credit: Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Whatever you have to say negatively about Carmelo Anthony and his lack of an NBA championship, it will never take away from the force he was on the offensive end of the ball. Anthony was a lethal three-level scorer who reached all-time heights in his career, ranking in the top 10 in NBA history for career points and averaging 22.5 points per game in 19 NBA seasons with the Nuggets, Knicks, Trail Blazers, Thunder, Rockets, and Lakers.

Anthony is a former 10-time All-Star and scoring champion who torched every opponent at least once in his career. His career-high of 62 points came against the Charlotte Bobcats in 2014 as a member of the Knicks. On top of that, Anthony recorded four 50-point games, 36 40-point games, and 272 30-point games in his career.

In his entire 18 seasons in the NBA, no two teams got it worse from Anthony than the Charlotte Hornets and the New York Knicks. Anthony averaged 25.2 points per game in 38 games against the Hornets and in 23 games against the Knicks in his career with New York being a former team of his he loved to play. He would also average over 24.0 points per game against the Hawks and Wizards in 40 games apiece.

Kyrie Irving

Credit: Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

As one of the best ball-handlers and finishers in NBA history, Kyrie Irving has always been applauded for the smooth control he has of the ball and his ability to score in bunches. Irving is a former NBA champion with the Cavaliers as well as an eight-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA Team selection over the last 13 seasons with the Cavaliers, Celtics, Nets, and Mavericks.

Irving has always been a sneaky scorer, rarely seen as such by the masses who cover him. In his career, he has recorded a career-high of 60 points in 2022 as well as six total 50-point games, 31 40-point games, and 151 30-point games. The two teams that Irving has enjoyed seeing more than any others are the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets. In 16 games against Memphis, Irving averaged 27.6 points per game on 52.3% shooting. In 17 games against Houston, he averaged 27.1 points per game on 46.2% shooting.

Irving even added to his Houston dominance this week as he scored 27 points on 8-22 shooting in a win Tuesday evening.

Tracy McGrady

Tracy McGrady is one of the biggest what-ifs in NBA history. If it wasn't for injuries, who knows the heights he could have reached in his career that spanned 25 seasons from 1998 through 2012. McGrady was as lethal of a scorer as there was in the NBA in the 2000s, earning two scoring titles, seven All-Star selections, and seven All-NBA Team selections in his prime.

Famous for such moments as his 13 points in 33 seconds and numerous poster dunks, McGrady dropped a career-high 62 points in 2004 with Orlando against the Wizards. He would also record four 50-point games, 45 40-point games, and 206 30-point games throughout his career.

Much like everyone on this list, McGrady absolutely dominated the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, and Charlotte Hornets in his career. He averaged a career-high 23.8 points per game in 24 games against the Jazz in 14 seasons as well as 23.5 points per game against Washington and 23.1 points per game against Charlotte.

Allen Iverson

Credit: Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

Standing just 6’0’’ tall, Allen Iverson wasn't supposed to be as great and iconic as he was in the NBA. Iverson refused to hear his critics and went on to become an MVP, four-time scoring champion, 11-time All-Star, and seven-time All-NBA Team selection during his 14-year career. He finished his NBA journey with a 26.7 points per game scoring average which ranks eighth in NBA history as well.

Iverson would be a 60-point scorer once in his career with 60 against the Orlando Magic in 2005. He also recorded 11 50-point games, 79 40-point games, and 344 30-point games in his career which rank 11th all-time. Allen Iverson doled out the most punishment to the Toronto Raptors in his career, averaging 29.7 points per game against them in 38 games in his career. He would also have a career scoring average of 28.0 points per game or more against the Spurs, Bucks, Bulls, Bobcats, and Hawks in his 14 seasons of play.

Kevin Durant

Credit: David Reginek-USA TODAY Sports

Generational talents like Kevin Durant only come around so often in one’s lifetime watching the NBA. At nearly 7’0’’ tall, Durant has redefined what it looks like to play the game at that size, rewriting the books on efficiency and mid-range shooting in the process. Over the last 17 years, we have watched Durant average 27.3 points per game with four scoring titles, two Finals MVP awards, an MVP award, and countless All-Star appearances and All-NBA Team selections.

While he has never reached the 60-point mark, Durant has dropped at least 50 points nine times including his career-high of 55 points in 2022. He has also had 66 40-point games and 370 30-point games in his career with the Thunder, Warriors, Nets, and Suns. He is once again defying the odds in 2023-24, averaging over 31.0 points per game at 35 years old with Phoenix.

When it comes to the teams he has done the most damage against in his career, none have gotten it worse than his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. In 13 career games against them, Durant averages 31.9 points per game on 52.5% shooting, making them swallow every ill word they spoke about him after his departure in 2016.

Shaquille O’Neal

Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

If you were alive to watch Shaquille O’Neal during his peak in the 2000s, then you know his place among this group is no shock at all. O’Neal led the Lakers to a three-peat as NBA champions from 2000 through 2002, winning all three Finals MVP awards and taking home an MVP and scoring title in the process. He would add a fourth championship ring with the Heat in 2004.

In one of his most memorable games ever, Shaq would record a career-high on his birthday against the Clippers in 2000. It would be the only 60-point game of his career. O’Neal would also go on to record three 50-point games, 49 40-point games, and 313 30-point games in 19 seasons in the NBA with the Magic, Lakers, Heat, Suns, Celtics, and Cavaliers.

Of all the teams to feel Shaq’s wrath in his career, none got it worse than the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers. O’Neal averaged 26.4 points per game in 44 games against Dallas in his career and 26.3 points per game in 40 games against the Clippers. He shot over 58.0% against both teams and not even the Hack-A-Shaq method could stop his dominance of their franchises.

LeBron James

Credit: Jonathan Hui-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James has rewritten the record books at every turn over the last 21 seasons and continues to do so in 2023-24 with the Los Angeles Lakers. James is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and leader in minutes played between the regular season and playoffs combined among many other records. Not one player in NBA history has sustained the level of greatness he has in the last 21 seasons.

With his ridiculous longevity and becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, James scored a career-high of 61 points back in 2014 against the Charlotte Bobcats. He has also had 14 career 50-point games, 74 40-point games, and 539 30-point games in the last two decades.

With all of the battles he has endured in his career, none were more ruthless or personal than with the Boston Celtics. James has owned the Celtics with 29.1 points per game in 58 career games against Boston while shooting 50.6% from the floor. He also averages over 29.0 points per game in 41 games against Portland and averages over 28.0 points per game against the Bucks, Cavaliers, Heat, Bulls, Jazz, Hornets, and Thunder.
