NBA Rumors: Cavaliers "Frustrated" With Collin Sexton Not Passing The Ball

After an encouraging start to the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves at the Eastern Conference bunker once again.

And while they have plenty of young talent to give life to their future, the front office is dealing with a certain level of frustration towards their young point guard, Collin Sexton, who is apparently hoarding the basketball a little too much.

"Various Cavs players still grow frustrated by the way Sexton dominates the ball, and opponents taunt them by saying during games, 'you know he’s not going to pass you the ball,'" Joe Vardon of The Athletic reported.

Apparently, Sexton's control of the basketball has put quite a few people off, to the point where other teams are starting to pick up on it. The guard has a 29.2 usage rate, 23rd highest in the NBA, but the sixth-worst assist percentage (21.0) in basketball.

Still, even despite that problem, Collin is still the face of the franchise. With season averages of 24.4 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game on 48.3% shooting, he is going to be a major part of their future in some capacity.

But, for now, perhaps he should focus on moving the ball a little bit more, if nothing else than to keep his teammates happy.
