No NBA superstar draws as much attention to everything they do as LeBron James. The King has been the face of the league for a while now, making him the main man of his franchise. And when you mix that LeBron James clout with the Los Angeles Lakers, the scrutiny is at an all-time high. And his recent posts are leading to a fair bit of excitement and anticipation among folks.

LeBron James shared a very odd tweet recently, posting just an emoji depicting an alien. Now, this could be about anything, but on the internet, the consensus of the people interacting with it often decides what it is.

The Los Angeles Lakers recently traded for Rui Hachimura and there have been strong suggestions that they aren't done making moves just yet. As such, many fans thought this tweet had something to do with Russell Westbrook being moved on.

"Does this mean Westbrook is getting traded!?"

"Damn, they gonna show Russ the door?"

"Why is Bron feeling freaky, what the Lakers boutta do?"

"Westbrook getting traded let’s goooo."

"You put this team together big guy."

"He’s so pissed lmao free him from the shackles of the Lakers."

"Move on from Westbrook already."

"LeBron knows it's time for the Lakers to make a big move."

"Russell Westbrook, please pack your bags."

"It's time, LeBron James is about to get some serious help.

With how things are going for the Lakers right now, they lost by a big margin to the Clippers despite 46 points from LeBron James, fans are hoping a trade will change everything. The team is expecting Anthony Davis back soon, but they do need more quality on the roster. But while fans seemingly thought it was about Russ, the King's IG story would suggest otherwise.

LeBron James' Instagram Story Suggests The Tweet Might Have Been About Himself

King James is playing at a level at 38 years old that nobody in the history of the game has managed. After his big night against the Clippers, he reached the milestone of having scored 40 points against every team in the NBA. And his Instagram story would suggest that the alien emoji is about his spectacular prowess.

Understandably, fans of the Lakers and LeBron James want to see the King get closer to another championship and not farther away. But unless something drastic happens, likely, Russell Westbrook will still be a Laker for a while to come. Never say never though, as much as LeBron would like to say he's not involved with personnel decisions, it's not strictly true.
